Planet Surfer is an Helium Airship designed to enter Earth orbit and return creating a fully reusable launch system.
Coming Soon...
One launch, one home is a new design that uses Starship to launch livable spinning space station for one hundred million dollars.

Business Plan
Wrote up a business plan to show that operating a small rotating space station can be profitable.
Orbital Cleaning
A way to bring down orbital junk in LEO with a reusable rocket.
Sky Bridge
Mars Underground Railroad
Been thinking about the most primitive way to live on Mars while having 1G to live in, Maglev Tech would be quiet and smooth but it would require higher amounts of hard to reach and process minerals and when starting a new colony it has to be easy at first and iron is the very plentiful mineral of choice.
TARS
I had an idea rattling around in my head for awhile, all about a remote controlled soldier using the new Starlink system.
Catching Starship
An expanded idea for landing Starship
SpaceX Starship
Playing around with an idea for landing Starship without using any fuel.
Trantor Station
Been working on a space station design to take advantage of the possible cheaper rates into space when Starship starts flying to orbit. It’s been a fun ride creating this tiny world. More images on the front page and videos to come.
Still Here
Hello, it’s been a busy year so far. Working from home with the kids here makes for hectic days, I have slowly been working on a new design of the rocket engine and hope to finish the design soon. Not in a hurry this year, just got to take it one day at a time. Stay safe.
Prototype Pulse Rocket Engine Test
First engine test completed, need to work on the fuel-oxidizer mix and I had a valve sleeve come loose, should be an easy fix. Pretty happy with the test, fuel input on this prototype is very low, will increase the fuel line diameter in future iterations. Not bad for a first go.
Control Station
Finished up on my control station, this will allow me to test the rocket up to 500 ft away. I am using an older I7 laptop with windows 7 loaded with Arduino software for the Mega control board and some cool switches that turn everything on. Little pouch on the side that holds a wireless mouse and underneath the laptop is a 12v power supply, power strip and a switching board that I made. The wire harness on the right will connect the rocket to its power supply. Below is the energy station that will be separated from the rocket for added safety. That is still a work in progress as I slowly acquire the needed fittings and wire up the connections.
Rocket Test Frame
Continue the build of Rocket Engine
Main engine is finally assembled, need to build a test stand, hook up ignition power source, fuel lines and Nitrous Oxide canister, and I still need to finish the build of the control board. A little at a time, seems like time is my most valuable resource. Had a good but busy holiday season, not going to make any estimates this time, just going to keep on working whenever i get the time. I am very excited with my progress, actually having the main assembly together is a big motivator. This should be an exciting year, lots more to do.
Rocket Engine Assembly
It has been a long time coming, the parts are made and I have begun putting the main sections of the engine together. I will be using an Ardruino MEGA board along with some MOSFETS to control fuel and ignition. I will get a few days off for Christmas and that should give me the time to finish assembly and then it will be time for testing. Hoping to get my hands on a few GoPros to record it. Have a great holiday season.
3D Printing in Space
Just playing around with an idea for 3D printing in Orbit. This idea would print out structural beams for large structures. When the print is done the robotic arm places the beam on a Space barge and using something like multiple VASMIR drives to move itself to a nearby construction site. Printing material will be refilled by replacing the tanks on the end, This idea might be a little to open and proned to losing a beam now and then. I will continue to contemplate something better, still pretting cool though.
Regolith
Came up with an idea for collecting regolith on the Moon.
The rover will ride across the surface with the sweeper spinning fast and moving the material to a fast moving conveyor that will accelerate the moon dust and slide it up the U-ramp and over the containment box. It will make quite the mess but be a very simple design. As long as most of the parts are sealed or covered with a non-degrading rubber like boot to keep the regolith from penetrating any joints or bushings it should last a long time with very little maintenance. The rover will have sensors and connectors on the front bumper to know where it is going and to connect to a terminal to recharge and deposit its cargo. The terminal will remove the cargo box much like a ground based garbage truck.
Atlas Lathe
Finally got me a good lathe, this Atlas Quick Change Lathe is a dream to work with after turning on my cheap Chinese lathe. Still have two more castings to complete and then I will clean them up and start the next phase of development. Pretty exciting stuff.
